Okay, i know it's been a while since I've updated, so here goes. Well the reason why i haven't been posting lately is because I've been very busy. First of all, after the Easter holidays, we've had our mid-term tests and I've been studying my ass off for those after what happened to my results for last semester. And I must say, although my results were still not that great, but I've been improving a lot and I'm glad. :) Anyways, after the tests, we had our debate competition (long story) and the topic was "Religion is the main cause of dividing mankind" and I was against it. Oh, and no results for that yet, psh! The week after that, we had our homework inspection and the teachers have been pretty tight about everything. And since the end of the year is also coming, the teachers have been giving us a heck of a lot of work and speed up things because they weren't "teaching fast enough" and they had to finish everything in the book by the end of the year. psh! So yeah, and now it's Mother's Day...and with some good early preparations, I can kinda take a break now and catch up with my other things.

 

So, Mother's Day. What I did was that I got the idea from a present I got last year, to order a cup with a picture of me and my mom on it. And last week, I took a picture of us, and it was like a perfect shot (check the photos). btw, speaking of last week, I also watched Spiderman 3 last week, was awesome! And then on Friday, during Biology lesson, we had to do something with flowers and our biology teacher got a lot of carnations, for the sake of Mother's Day, we got to take them after the lesson was over and get to take as much as we want. So yeah, something more to give as well. As for the card, like usual, I made her a card. Cause you see, ever since I was a kid and I got kinda interested in crafts, I always made cards on ocassions for my family. Whether handmade or computerized, I wouldn't buy a card unless I was really sloppy that week and I had to. Because buying a card is not as meaningful as making a card. When you buy, all you do is pay for it and then add a few words and that's it. So unless what you put in it is meaningful, you basically didn't really put much of an effort in it. And I know that if some of my friends hear this they would say that I'm mean for not making cards for them,lol. Well I would except I'm afraid people might think it's 'gay' or weird...besides, I'm lazy,lol. Anyways for this year, I made a card with a bunch of pictures of me from when I was a baby to now, some of them with my mom and some of them with my family. So yeah, she quite liked it. :)

 

Any other things? Well, you know how I've been quite into MCR lately (as you can see from my background on myspace and xanga), well for these two weeks I got both the CDs (or DVD as well for one of them), "Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge" and "Life on the Murder Scene". (don't say anything about them, yes, I know some of you guys don't really like them), so yeah. :D And then I bought myself a new book to prepare for my 9th volume of my diary. Oh, and I also got a raise for my allowance. $100 HKD more, which means my new monthly allowance is $500 HKD/$77 CAD/$62.5 USD. yay! oh joy! So yeah, things have been up and down for these few weeks...*sigh* but I just can't believe the end of the school year is coming soon. I'm not ready to face whatever I have to face soon...wish time can slow down a bit so that I can enjoy what I can now. OH well, all the best to us all and God bless! Later.
